Proclaiming The Good News Of Jesus
Who Can Become A Christian?
All human beings are sinful. Since the fall of man, it’s in our nature. We have all sinned in some form or another be it murder, evil thoughts or lies. All sin must be punished equally. Without Jesus Christ, we would be lost with no solution. Having said this the Bible proclaims amazing news; the forgiveness of sins through Jesus Christ for those who trust Him.
The Bible says “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” Romans 3:23 and that "there is no one righteous, not even one.” This is the reality of man's mess. Sin, evil, selfishness. Thanks to God’s amazing grace salvation and forgiveness for sin is available...For whom?...Mark 16:16 says "Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned... The answer is "Whoever". John 3:16 asserts this:
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." Who can be saved? "The World" and "Whoever". We are saved by God’s grace. We do not deserve salvation; we amazingly receive it by faith and thanks to the love, mercy and grace of God.
Everyone has the opportunity to be forgiven and saved from their sin and the curse which is death. Jesus Christ died for everyone, but it’s up to us to take him up on the offer of salvation. Salvation is the greatest gift we could ever receive. We no longer have to be punished for our sin. Jesus’ love is greater than anything we could ever imagine.
